Mussoorie
 
 

Mussoorie is a small hill station situated in North India. The place is also known as ‘Queen of Hill Stations’ or ‘Queen of Hills’ and is 34kms away from Dehradun. One of the most favored hill resorts in Uttar Pradesh. Mussoorie is called as the ‘Gateway’ to Yamunotri and Gangotri, North Indian shrines.

The summer the weather in Mussoorie is cool. People can relax and enjoy the calm weather on hilltops.

Hindu pilgrimage like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Haridwar, Rishikesh are close to Mussoorie.

 
Major Attraction
 

Childres Lodge
It is one the highest peak of Mussoorie. Anyone can have a stroll at the place on foot or horse back.

Nag Devta Temple
It is an ancient temple situated 6kms from Mussoorie. The view of Doon Valley and Mussoorie is worth seeing from this place.

Clouds End
This building is amongst the first four buildings constructed in Mussoorie in 1838, by a British major. The hotel is located at the extreme west of Mussoorie Hill. This tourist spot is amidst thick forest, and gives a picture of snow clad Himalayas and the Yamuna River. The place is rich in flora and fauna.

The Mall
The mall is a great tourist attraction of Mussoorie. One can choose amongst a variety of work done by craftsmen like textiles, metal ware, woodcarving etc.

Kempty Falls
Kempty Waterfalls are the most pleasant waterfalls. It is located 13km from Mussoorie.
